Student Facilities
Holbrook College of London (HCL) is a place where students can learn, investigate and discuss the ideas that shape the world. These activities will not always be constricted to the classroom, instead students will be encouraged through group activities to form intercultural relationships and together gain a strong foundation for their chosen subject.
Our classes are taught by experienced and renowned staff who will offer a cutting edge education. The college courses are designed for all those who embrace the challenges of community life and wish to participate in all aspects of the curriculum.
All our programmes are designed to attain the entire academic, personal and professional success a student deserves, thereby providing a satisfying future. We want students to enjoy their studies, free of worries. To facilitate this, we have on hand a team of experts to help students with any problems.
Our student support team is available to advise on issues such as housing, finance, childcare, grants, benefits and any personal problems or difficulties involving studies. The Student Support Officers can arrange for students to receive counselling or help from outside agencies such as the local hospital, Citizen's Advice Bureau, Benefits Agency or from legal representatives.
The Student Support Officers can be found in the Student Centre and students are welcome to drop in for a chat, pick up some information or make an appointment for a confidential meeting.
The college welfare team devote much of their time to caring for overseas students who are arriving in London and adjusting to their new home. We will assist all students in understanding what they can do next, what employers want, and the current status of the job market.
Our courses at HCL are competitively priced; many students may qualify for a bursary or scholarship. By studying locally, you avoid some of the costs associated with university life and our courses are designed to be flexible so you can fit them around your schedule. We design our courses with your future employability in mind; preparing you for the world of work. Our courses are as practical as possible so when you find employment, you can get ahead.
