What you will study
The purpose of this module is to develop the skills students will require for completion of the BA in Strategic Administrative Management and to give students a greater understanding and knowledge of learning through critical reflection and analysis. On completion of the unit you will understand: How you learn; the importance of understanding your personal learning style; How to further develop your organizational skills; the components of an assignment and how to write a good assignment through the process of reflection, analysis, critical thinking and the appropriate use of academic references to support learning. The degree programme has five elements - three compulsory modules, one optional module (from a choice of two) and a final dissertation:
Unit 1: Personal Effectiveness
Unit 2: Administrative Management in Context
Unit 3: Strategic Management
Optional Unit 1: Culture and Change Management
Optional Unit 2: International Marketing
Entry Requirements:
Entrance to the BA SAM is designed for those who: Hold the IAM Advanced Diploma in Administrative Management; Are current members of the IAM in the appropriate grade for the qualification held -
MInstAM (AdvDip) or FInstAM (AdvDip).
